The Arizona Magic Basketball Organization has been the #1 high school basketball club in Arizona for the past 15-years, producing (4) NBA players, (31) professional players overseas and over (200) college scholarship players. The Magic is sponsored by Adidas through Double Pump, (Pump-N-Run), nationally known as the best marketers of the nation's top talent. Both partners are critical for getting our players seen by thousands of college and professional coaches nationally. Our teams only play at college viewing or recruiting services attended tournaments, maximizing our player's chances to be recruited to the next level.

The master mind behind the Arizona Magic organization is Anthony Ray. Mr. Ray has the only national recruiting site www.arizonapreps.com and scouting service, which has over 3,500 college coaches subscribing or read about Arizona's top talent daily.

The Magic program is run by Jeff de Laveaga, a former professional basketball player and founder of the Arizona Gym Rats which had won 24 AAU Arizona State Championships, 9 National Championships, and over 350 competitive tournament championships in just eight short years. In his first season with the Magic (2010), Coach de teams won (5) high profile tournaments and had a combine record of 67-7 throughout the spring and summer.

In 2011, de Laveaga's teams won (5) u17 events, (4) u16 events and the only u15 event he participated in, which includes (2) National Adidas events versus the top west coast teams.

2012 Tryouts will be held on March 3, 2012 at Gilbert Christian High School. Tryouts are open to all high school players and you can find additional information at: "Club Info / Tryouts
